The Road so Far…

I figured you guys (not that anyone actually reads this) deserve to know my story. I do not remember much about my childhood, but I was born in New Mexico. Two years later, I moved to Alaska and lived there for four years, then moved to Germany (Military Family). Whenever people ask where I am from, I always say Germany, it is what I remember, where I was raised, but I’ll get into that on a later post. In the 6th grade, when I was twelve, we moved back to the states, Tennessee to be exact, I stayed there until college. I had to get away, so I moved eight hours away to Ohio to go to university.

In the first grade, I was diagnosed with Type One Diabetes. I was also diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder when I was fourteen. Due to my awkwardness from the autism, I began seeing a counselor in the first grade because clearly since I was different I wasn’t okay. I struggled all throughout school, mainly due to bullying. I quickly learned how to act like a normal persona and hide all the symptoms of the autism.

Due to the autism and the ADD, I had an insane amount of executive dysfunction (I will explain in a later post). This made it nearly impossible to do ordinary tasks. I barely made it through the school years. This all came to a sudden halt towards the end of senior year, however, when I hospitalized myself.

I am now 19 years old and attending university. After four hospitalizations, I am officially diagnosed with Bipolar I, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Schizophrenia, Attention Deficit Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive, Post-Traumatic Stress, And Diabetic.
